Nancy Turner, DVM

Since receiving her doctorate in veterinary medicine, Dr. Turner has consistently sought to share her knowledge and experience with the public. She is the former co-host of the radio show "Animals on the Air" and has written several online articles for clinics and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She has served on the Texas Veterinary Medical Association Executive Committee, several American Veterinary Medical Association Committees, and is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation.

Experience

Dr. Turner has more than 14 years of clinical experience in small animal medicine and surgery. During her career, she has worked in clinical primary practice, emergency medicine, and mobile practices in the Dallas area. She has traveled extensively and experienced veterinary medicine in Brazil and Italy. She has also spent time in policy development with the House Committee on Agriculture in Washington, D.C. Her passion for all areas of veterinary medicine have recently led her to a teaching position with a veterinary technician program.


Education

Dr. Turner received her Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Sciences) at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in College Station, Texas.
